Artist Statement: My ofrenda was about my great grandfather. He was born in Guatemala and his was raised there. For a couple of years he moved to Tijuana and started a family. He had 12 children 6 girls and 6 boys surprisingly. He loved baseball in his town he would be all over the newspaper informing people how great of a baseball player he was. One thing he loved a lot was food. The only problem was that he like a lot of fatty foods and unfortunately that is what led him to death. He died when he was 63 and but he was known for being a very kind man and very giving.
